UX Case Study

Maheshwar: A Case Study
This project was a product of my Master’s thesis, rooted in extensive research on the handloom craft of Maheshwar, its legacy, the challenges faced by weavers, and the reasons behind declining sales. Through research-led insights, the project proposes strategic branding and craft tourism positioning as a means to preserve, promote, and sustainably strengthen the Maheshwari textile ecosystem.

Printer Icon UX
This project analyses and redesigns commonly used printer icons by evaluating icons from popular brands through user testing including preliminary experience mapping, ranking, comprehension, and stereotype tests. Based on user feedback, the Icon Set was systematically redesigned and re-evaluted through post-redesign testing to improve clarity, usability and overall user experience.

Skills I bring to the table
I design with people in mind, making experiences that are clear, accessible, and easy to use
Behind the canvas
I started out in architecture, where I first learned that design isn’t just about how something looks, it’s about how people experience it. That curiosity stuck with me and grew into a deeper interest in understanding how things work, why they work, and how they can work better.
My master’s in design helped me turn that curiosity into a user-centred approach, shaping how I think, research, and create today. I care about making things not just functional, but meaningful and intuitive for the people who use them.
Outside of design work, I’m always exploring different forms of making from pottery and crochet to digital illustration, painting, and reading. I believe inspiration rarely comes from one place, and the more you explore, the more creatively you see the world.
